Brooke Elder:

This is the Align youe True north podcast and I'm your host, Brooke Elder.

Brooke Elder:

Today we are going to dive into a very hot topic that a lot of people have been asking about and that is how to get high ticket clients chasing you.

Brooke Elder:

So high ticket clients are actively looking for strategic partners right now.

Brooke Elder:

They're trying to find someone in their business to come and help them.

Brooke Elder:

Today I'm going to show you the exact framework that you can use in your social media that's going to start attracting those clients, the kind of clients that you want to be working with.

Brooke Elder:

This is the exact same strategy that I have used in my business.

Brooke Elder:

And I have also coached many people into applying this into their business.

Brooke Elder:llowed them to be able to get:Brooke Elder:

Clients that are really looking for the things that they can actually do and help them in their business.

Brooke Elder:

So we're going to dive right into that.

Brooke Elder:

So the very first thing is we are going to start looking at how we can shift our strategy.

Brooke Elder:

And when you're looking at social media, one of the things that people do is they try to promote themselves.

Brooke Elder:

They talk about what it is that they do.

Brooke Elder:

They maybe are, they're talking about the certification they have.

Brooke Elder:

It's very what I call arrows in focus.

Brooke Elder:

It's all about them.

Brooke Elder:

Which in a personal brand it's okay to talk about the things that like maybe you're doing with your family or the things the, that you stand for, your values, all of that.

Brooke Elder:

But when you are trying to create content that is going to be attracting your ideal clients, arrows in type of marketing doesn't work.

Brooke Elder:

We need to change that to arrows out marketing.

Brooke Elder:

So how can what you do, how can that actually serve and benefit your clients?

Brooke Elder:

So I'm going to teach you a framework of how to put this all together.

Brooke Elder:

But what we want to do is we want to be shifting our mindset of where we want to be posting about what, what's in it for our clients.

Brooke Elder:

It's not about us, it's not about the things that we do.

Brooke Elder:

It's what's in it for our clients.

Brooke Elder:

How can what we do help our clients?

Brooke Elder:

How can it make their lives better?

Brooke Elder:

How can it make their businesses better?

Brooke Elder:

Those are the things that we Talk about because that's what's going to resonate the most, especially with these high ticket clients that are looking for strategic partners.

Brooke Elder:

So the framework that we follow for putting this kind of social media post together, I'm just looking through my notes here.

Brooke Elder:

How we do this is, is what we want to do is we want to follow the plan where we first talk about the problems that our clients is facing.

Brooke Elder:

So think about this is very like a problem solution type framework in creating social media content.

Brooke Elder:

So think about the problem that your client is facing, then you're going to talk about the solution that you provide.

Brooke Elder:

But here's the part that actually makes the most difference.

Brooke Elder:

We talk about the problem, we're going to talk about the solution, but then we're going to talk about the outcome that is achieved once that solution is there and in place.

Brooke Elder:

What does that mean for the business owner?

Brooke Elder:

How is their life better?

Brooke Elder:

How is their business better?

Brooke Elder:

What is the outcome of that?

Brooke Elder:

So is problem solution outcome.

Brooke Elder:

So when you're creating social media content, I want you to think about that, talk about what the problem is, what's the solution and the outcome.

Brooke Elder:

And when you're doing this, it's making it all about the clients, it's all about the people that you are helping.

Brooke Elder:

It's not about you, it's not about, it's not this.

Brooke Elder:

Arrows in marketing, right?

Brooke Elder:

This is a way that we can do arrows out marketing and we make it about the client.

Brooke Elder:

So as we're doing this, you can start looking at your social media as really a business, digital business card.

Brooke Elder:

This is where people are going to come and they're going to be able to learn more about you.

Brooke Elder:

Now I've looked at a lot of your social media and some of you are doing a great job, but some of you, there's lots of improvement that you can do in this area.

Brooke Elder:

If you are thinking about building a resume that you are going to be sending to a client that you are really hoping to work with, you would think about the things that you wanted to really showcase, right?

Brooke Elder:

You want to talk about the things that you can do for business owners.

Brooke Elder:

Talk about your mission, talk about your vision, what values do you have you want to be showcasing, like here's problems that clients have had in the past, this is how I was able to solve them and then this is the outcome that they were able to achieve because of that solution.

Brooke Elder:

Those are the kind of things that should be on your social media.

Brooke Elder:

So your homework for today is I want you to do a social media audit.

Brooke Elder:

I want you to look through all the things that you have on your social media right now.

Brooke Elder:

And if you were to turn in your social media, this doesn't matter if this is Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, any of those.

Brooke Elder:

If you were to turn that in as a resume right now, would you get hired based off of the kind of content that is on social media?

Brooke Elder:

If the answer is no, well, that's amazing because we know what to do to fix it.

Brooke Elder:

So I want you to start thinking of different kinds of posts that you can do now.

Brooke Elder:

If you want to test out some of those posts in this group, we would love to hear that.

Brooke Elder:

So you can post in this group a post that is a problem, solution, outcome type post posted on your social media.

Brooke Elder:

If you want to put it here first and get some feedback before you actually put it out there, great.

Brooke Elder:

You can just tag me in it and I would be happy to look over it for you.

Brooke Elder:

But that is really going to be the biggest difference of what is going to make massive, massive difference in attracting the right kind of clients.

Brooke Elder:

So getting your resume, your social media resume, really.

Brooke Elder:

And again, it doesn't matter if it's on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, wherever you are posting on social media.

Brooke Elder:

I really prefer Facebook because I feel like there are a lot of entrepreneurs that are still on Facebook.

Brooke Elder:

Yes, they are on Instagram, they are on LinkedIn as well.

Brooke Elder:

So I use a service that when I post on 1, it posts on all of them.

Brooke Elder:

And so if you guys need a software that will do that, just message me and I'm happy to tell you some of the ones that we use.

Brooke Elder:

But when you're creating this and you're creating that content, that really is that first piece.

Brooke Elder:

The second piece is how do we now get eyeballs onto that content?

Brooke Elder:

Right, we've created the right content, now we got to get people to start looking at that.

Brooke Elder:

And I found one of the best ways to do that is to go into Facebook groups.

Brooke Elder:

And you can also do this by like looking on, on Instagram and on LinkedIn and finding who is your target audience, who are those high ticket clients that you really want to work with.

Brooke Elder:

And when you find them on LinkedIn and Instagram, you can just start following them.

Brooke Elder:

Most of the time when you follow someone, they're going to look at you and say, who is this person that's following me?

Brooke Elder:

And then they'll follow you back.

Brooke Elder:

When they do that, they're going to look at your content.

Brooke Elder:

When you're doing it in Facebook, this is a little bit different strategy where you can actually go into a Facebook group where your ideal target audience is, is.

Brooke Elder:

And the first thing that I look at is I look at how can I start offering some solutions for people, how can I help?

Brooke Elder:

So one of the things that you can do in a group is you can actually search within the group.

Brooke Elder:

So if you're looking at the group, there's usually a little search button, it's on the right hand side around there, like a little like search magnifying glass.

Brooke Elder:

And when you click on that, you can type in the words like help or question or struggle.

Brooke Elder:

Those are like really my top three that I look for.

Brooke Elder:

And then when you get those results, you can filter those results by most recent.

Brooke Elder:

Then you can see who is actually asking for help within the last week or two weeks.

Brooke Elder:

And you can then see, can I answer these people's questions?

Brooke Elder:

If you can answer those questions, what you're doing is you're building up your authority in that group.

Brooke Elder:

And the more that you do this, you really only need to be like a superstar in like two to three groups.

Brooke Elder:

That's really all you need.

Brooke Elder:

And so once you find those groups, it takes a little bit to find them.

Brooke Elder:

So I usually will join like probably 20 to 30 groups that I think my target audience is going to be in.

Brooke Elder:

And then from there I start weeding out which groups are good because you know there's lots of spammy groups out there and stuff like that.

Brooke Elder:

So you find which groups are good and then I choose these are the ones that I want to be a superstar in where I am just going to offer advice and help all the time.

Brooke Elder:

So people are going to start recognizing your name.

Brooke Elder:

What they do when they start recognizing their your name is they're going to then go to your profile and say, who is this person?

Brooke Elder:

Well, you have your resume all right there on your social media account.

Brooke Elder:

And so then they start looking through your posts and the things that you're talking about and the solutions that you offer.

Brooke Elder:

And then that, that usually will lead to a friend request.

Brooke Elder:

And then once they send you a friend request, you can then start messaging them in the dms and that is the easiest way to start getting those high ticket clients.

Brooke Elder:

So it does take a little bit of work at the beginning, but if you started doing this now, by January, even maybe end of January, you are going to have those high tech clients that you're looking for.
